 Margarita Mancur, 86, rests during her visit the tomb of her son Ismael Mancur in a cemetery in Guatemala City. Ismael Mancur, a candidate for the National Union of Hope Party was assassinated during his senatorial campaign in Guatemala City. Police have not uncovered direct evidence Mancur's killing was politically motivated, but Mancur was one of 21 candidates and activists slain since Guatemala's election season began, according to groups monitoring eventsleading up to Nov. 9, the scheduled date for presidential, legislative and local elections.
